    • Use this field to upload your document that will be used as the assignment
    • Title
    • A title for your assignment
    • Is this homework
    • Only check this if the assignment is to be completed as homework by the students
    • Add assignment instructions
    • Use this field to tell your students want they need to do
    • Assignment start date and time
    • When does the assignment become active
    • Assignment due date and time
    • When is the assignment due to be handed in
    • Add some students
    • Add either all of your class students or a selection
    • Select grading type, of which there are 3 options
    • Score by mark
    • Score by classification
    • Score by grade
    • Information Needed
  3. You can assign any Microsoft Office documents, including Word, Excel or PowerPoint.

    • When these types of document are uploaded they will be editable by the student and so returnable for marking.
    • You can upload Acrobat PDF files but these will not be editable.

  4. When setting an assignment you can choose from these marking option.

    • Score by mark
    • Using this option you can set a maximum mark that the student can achieve when completing this assignment, commonly used marks would be out of 10, 50 or 100 but you can choose any whole number you would like.
    • Score by classification
    • Using this option you can mark the work using Pass, Merit or Distinction
    • Score by grade
    • Using this option you can mark the work using the standard grades from A* to F
    • Marking Types
  5. When an assignment has reached its due date the icon will change colour and the students will no longer be able to edit their document.
