- The details in the story problem tell me that Damian has 8 more than Elena. It also says that Elena has 5 beads.
- 5 + 8 = 13. So, Damian has 13 beads. The details in the story problem say that Trish has 4 times as many beads as Damian. Damian has 13 beads. 13 x 4 = 52 . So, Trish has 52 beads.
