    • This training module allows us to standardize our practicum and internship process across all of our students.
    • This module also allows us to meet accreditation requirements consistent with CACREP standards for clinical mental health counseling programs.
    • Finally, this module can serve as a resource and guide for your role as supervisor with our students.

    • Weekly on-site supervision – averaging one hour per week

    • Consult on bi-weekly basis with the University of Pittsburgh faculty supervisor regarding student’s performance and progress.

    • 1 hour minimum weekly supervision may include:
    • Reviewing counseling session tapes
    • Live observation of student’s counseling practice

    • Serves as liaison between the University of Pittsburgh, you, and the supervisee student.
    • Provide 1.5 hours of group supervision per week to supervisee student.

    • Supervisors are responsible for the familiarity, progress, and outcome of all of the supervisee’s clients.
